More Sailor Moon to be Produced (June 7th, 2003)

After some rumors spreading around the net the past few days, it has finally been confirmed that there will be more Sailormoon in production. According to this announcement on the offical Japanese SM site (thankfully translated by many other news sites by the time I got home from work, saving me a whole hell of a lot of time attempting to translate this myself), it appears that new Sailor Moon will air in Japan this fall. This won't be anime, however, as the announcement states that Naoko Takeuchi (creator of Sailormoon) has announced that the Sailormoon in production will be a live action series. At this time, nothing more appears to be known, though it can be safely assumed that more will be told in the coming months.
